<p>Launching a scathing attack on the Congress-led Mahagathbandhan, former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the alliance was formed to further their selfish needs and not to safeguard nation's interests.</p>.<p>Speaking to reporters, Chouhan said, "Narendra Modi-led NDA government has given good governance and is working towards creating new India. Unable to digest Modi's popularity, the Congress and several other parties have formed Mahagathbandhan."</p>.<p>"Rahul Gandhi says the Congress party is with families of martyrs and that it would stand with the government in the fight against cross-border terrorism. But a senior member of his party alleges fixing between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistan counterpart Imran Khan.
