Some include 24 new themes, sleeping tabs, and improvements to the performance in terms of faster loading of web pages through memory and CPU resource management.</p>.<p>Now, the Redmond-based company has announced a new Kids Mode for its Edge browser. </p>.<p>"Kids Mode is a convenient browsing mode inside Microsoft Edge that’s designed for kids. With its kid-friendly features and safety guardrails in place, Kids Mode is a great place for children to safely explore the web," Microsoft said.</p>.<p>Kids Mode doesn't require a child account or profile. But, parents can set the age range 5-to-8 and age 9 or older. </p>.<p>Kids mode promises secure custom browser themes. The search results will be filtered to show only kid-friendly content, as browsing is based on an allow list and Bing SafeSearch set to strict.</p>.<p>Users will be asked for the password to exit the session and this will allow other users of the PC to unrestricted content.</p>.<p><strong>Here's how to enable Kids Mode on Microsoft Edge:</strong></p>.<p>Step 1: Go to the profile icon in the top left corner and tap Browse in Kids Mode.</p>.<p>It should be noted that the user need not be signed in to his/her profile to access this option.
