Assembly Elections 2024 Highlights | Congress-JMM-RJD-CPI(M) release joint manifesto for Jharkhand polls

The I.N.D.I.A. bloc on Tuesday unveiled its manifesto for the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections, promising 10 lakh jobs for youth and health insurance coverage of up to Rs 15 lakh for the poor. The BJP, on the other hand, called the JMM and Congress "experts in making false promises". Meanwhile, An FIR has been registered against Sunil Raut, brother of Sanjay Raut and Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate from Vikroli constituency for his reported objectionable comments against a woman candidate of CM Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena. Congress leader and Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi will launch the party's campaign in Maharashtra on Wednesday, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the BJP and Maha Yuti campaign in Nashik on Friday.
