Haryana Assembly Elections 2024 constituency-wise results Highlights | BJP victorious in 48 seats, Congress wins 37
The results of the Haryana Assembly elections were declared today by the ECI. After an early lead for Congress, BJP turned the tables and emerged victorious in Haryana, defying the predictions of the exit polls. Congress leader and former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda claimed victory in Garhi Sampla - Kiloi, while current CM Nayab Singh Saini also won in Ladwa. Wrestler-turned-politician Vinesh Phogat, who contested for the Congress, won from the Julana constituency in her debut elections. Elsewhere, OP Jindal group's chairperson emeritus, Savitri Jindal, won from the Hisar constituency contesting as an Independent candidate. Haryana BJP chief Mohan Lal Badoli has confirmed that Nayab Singh Saini will continue as CM with the BJP entering their third straight term in the state.
