India Political Highlights: 'Committed to zero error exam; will set up high-level panel,' says Dharmendra Pradhan
This blog is now closed. There were the highlights on Thursday, June 20. Students from across India are grappling with the aftermath of the cancellation of the UGC-NET exam which was conducted on Tuesday. The news of the cancellation came late in Wednesday night by the Ministry of Education. Addressing a presser, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi lashed out at Centre, saying that the opposition parties will raise exam paper leaks issue in Parliament. Congress will hold nationwide protest on Friday demanding justice for the NEET candidates. On the other hand, Tamil Nadu's politics is keeping everyone on the edge of their seats as AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami rules out admitting expelled leaders V K Sasikala and O Panneerselvam despite their pleas of unification of the factions.
